Strengths: Dual Core Processor, I can use it on Sprint, 3D is somewhat neat, fast response times, HTC Sense, Android Marketplace is functional, gorilla glass
Weakness: capacitive touch buttons are too sensitive, camera quality could be better, non-recessed camera, non-uniform platform
So it was finally time to retire my aging Touch Pro 2 on Windows Mobile 6.5 And I couldn't ditch that fast enough. The old 500hzish processor wasn't helping things and the Windows Mobile os was notorious for slowing down and being non-user friendly. The Evo 3D is a great phone in terms of form factor. It's not too large, and it's thin enough (especially compared to my old phone) I have not had any serious instances of slowdown at all and everything has been responsive. This alone puts the phone @ an 8/10 in my book. The 3D capabilities are just icing on the cake since they're not necessary nor are they the main reason I got this phone. The main downside of this phone so far has been the capacitive touch buttons. They accidentally trigger often when I type in landscape mode. This is somewhat solved iif you use a case. Also the camera quality is not the best. Unless you get a case it will be easy to smudge up the camera lenses as they are not recessed. Overall this thing is a savior compared to my old phone and certainly the best android phone on sprint as of this review.
